My dream
My dream is to continue to document the lives of remarkable women of color who are making a difference in the outdoors. Eventually, I’d like to publish these stories in a book. I hope to continue to travel around the country (and beyond), sharing these stories – especially with girls and women of color. I hope to inspire others to believe in their potential, regardless of obstacles, and become role models for other people. I hope to grow as an advocate, working to increase access for women of color to education, science, environmental conservation and outdoor adventure. Ultimately, I hope that my work aids in the liberation of all women from personal, social, and environmental challenges while improving their rights around the globe.
